It is about female empowerment, entrepreneurship and territorial valorisation. In this context, this project is thought, produced and led by women.
Under the leadership of ADIRAM- Associação de Desenvolvimento da Rede de Aldeias de Montanha with the coordination of Célia Gonçalves and support of Ana Cravo, a burel cover with the signature of the designer Sandra Pinho, Creative Partner of FaunaLab and produced by Burel Factory, whose CEO is also a woman: Isabel Costa.
The book “As Guardiãs da Montanha” (“The Mountain Guardians”) will be written by Ana Rita Ramos and Maria João Alves, journalists from Have a Nice Day, a publisher that will also take on the design and photographs.
The communication and activation strategy of the project will be developed by the designer Ana Melo, researcher at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon.
The training course for the Queijeiras was developed and will be given by Rita Pelica, Chief Energy Officer & Founder ONYOU and Fernanda Freitas, Founder of the company Eixo Norte Sul.
There seems to us no other way as beautiful and as symbolic to give these craftswomen the recognition they deserve.
